Bayview Village - Crane Erection and Road Closure
Wednesday, December 10th, 2025
A crane erection will take place on December 10th, 2025 requiring a temporary road closure in the affected area. The location of this closure is shown in the image below for reference.
No through traffic will be allowed from Bayview Avenue to Hawksbury Dr, but all local lane ways and Mall will be accessible. The purpose of closure is due to Hoisting Operation to Erect Tower Crane Located at 2901 Bayview Mews Lane. The scheduled activity will take place on December 10th, 2025. Operation will only take 10 – 12 hours to complete if there are no unforeseen issues. Activity takes place from 7:00a.m. to 7: 00p.m.

How long will it take to build?
The construction of the Bayview Village north development will take approximately 4 years.
What will the new Bayview Village master plan look like?
The reimagination of the Bayview Village master plan will include:
- Premium residential suites, some with direct access to the shopping centre
- Fully renovated shopping centre with 110+ high-end retailers and restaurants
- Brand new open-air retail promenade with introduction of new shops and eateries
- Ample park, green and public spaces proposed
- Public art and four-season lifestyle programming
- Approved direct access to TTC subway onsite
What kind of amenities will the new Bayview Village master plan include?

What are the hours construction?
All construction activities will strictly comply with the City of Toronto’s noise bylaw requirements (Saturday's: 7:00am - 5:00pm). In the event of any schedule variations due to unforeseen conditions, we will ensure timely updates are provided to keep everyone informed. Please refer to the noise exemption permit as seen above.
How often will I get construction updates?
The website will be updated monthly to reflect current construction activities at Bayview Village.
Will construction impact Bayview Village shopping centre or the professional offices?
We are committed to ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and customers throughout construction. Both the shopping centre and professional offices will reamin fully operational. The Bayview Village Professional Offices can be accessed through the mall.
Now that the north lot is closed, where can I park?
With construction impacting the north lot, there is ample parking in the south lot which is accessible off of Sheppard Avenue, Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews (west of Loblaws).
